Councilor Pfisterer's Job Fair Coming May 16

Councilor Marilyn Pfisterer is hosting her third annual Job Fair on May 16th at Thatcher Park from 10 AM to 2 PM. The fair is providing opportunity for those seeking jobs. Free parking is available at Thatcher Park, located at 4649 West Vermont. IndyGo will also provide bus transportation. Children who accompany adults will have a play area outside.

Any business that would like to participate should call Councilor Pfisterer at 244-7156 to gain information and to provide descriptions of job openings for the Job Fair advertising.

There have been over 1200 job seekers participating to date. Prior job fair business representatives have offered full time work with benefits and have commented favorably about the quality of applicants they encountered. Some of the businesses found qualified applicants that they had been seeking for months.
