HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. -The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)
announced today the new Interstate 74 (I-74) interchange and bridge at
Ronald Reagan Parkway, 2.8 miles east of State Road 267 (S.R. 267) has
an apparent winning bidder. Berns Construction Company, Inc. from
Indianapolis bid $17,445,283 for the new interchange project.

Pending INDOT review, Berns Construction Co., Inc. is expected to begin
construction in late April.

The conventional diamond spread interchange on I-74 will complete the
Ronald Reagan Parkway connection and improve safety and traffic
congestion in the area. Construction on the interchange project is
expected to begin in late April and is scheduled for completion in
September 2008.

The new interchange on I-74, 2.8 miles east of S.R. 267 is part of
Governor Mitch Daniels' Major Moves highway program. Major Moves fully
funds a decade of critical highway projects in Indiana. When Major
Moves is complete in 2015, more than 200 new construction and 200 major
highway preservation projects will have been built. Major Moves
capitalizes on Indiana's strategic location at the Crossroads of America
by building a superior road infrastructure. This innovative plan will
bring jobs to the Hoosier State and leave a legacy for Indiana to be a
global leader in distribution and logistics.
