Next Clermont Steering Committee Meeting Dec 17

Clermont Town Councilor Walt Miller said the steering committee has met
only once. He indicated that no minutes have been kept unless it was done
by Ball State University. However, Miller provided his recollection of
the previous steering meeting that involved Ball State University graduates
sharing historical data about the town. He explained the primary source
for the historical data came from local historian Beuford Hall. Other information
discussed was demographical information and a six point quality of life
questionnaire. The committee reviewed the survey with the goal to extend
the survey to a community wide base.
Miller announced the next steering committee is December 17 at 5:30 pm at Clermont Christian Church to discuss the survey results.
Miller's response to the past meeting's activities and meeting notice are based on resident Linda Lucas' and The Speedway Navigator's complaint that the steering meetings should be accessible to the public.
