Hardee's completed its $100,000 interior remodeling on January 18 while the final arch was being erected over the drive-thru. The remodeling required the inside area to only be closed about a week to do the cosmetic change of adding brush steel, tile, warm colors and new lighting packages. The facility transformation is the last piece of a three step transformation to carry the restaurant a level above the other "quick food restaurants", explained Tim Weigle of Hardee's.

Weigle said the transformation started three years ago with changes to the menu by adding items like the Pit Burger.
The next step improved customer service. The company focused on quick service while maintaining a fresh quality food. He said the food begins cooking after it is ordered so nothing is setting around.

Indianapolis and Speedway area are the test centers for the new exterior style. Weigle did not disclose the investment costs of the exterior changes.
