Chocolate Gallery Expands to Downtown For Christmas

(posted Nov 11)

The Chocolate Gallery is taking another step forward on their entrepreneurial path by expanding to the Circle Centre Mall during the Christmas Season.

For most retailers, the Christmas season makes or breaks a business. Daniel Cauldwell, one of the Chocolate Gallery owners, said it only makes sense to go an area that attracts millions of people a year, especially during the best retail season of the year. The Chocolate Gallery is going into their second Christmas season with expectations of breaking last year's sales record because they now have name recognition in the community.

Cauldwell called the booth location "excellent." The Chocolate Gallery will be selling gift boxes and baskets, fudge, carmel corn, and hand dipped chocolate covered pretzels, potato chips and apples from their location by the escalators on the third floor near Victoria Secret.  They will stay in the mall until December 31.

The Circle Centre Mall location was unexpected. Cauldwell initially decided to go to Greenwood Mall to sell chocolate at a kiosk, but the mall had no vacancies for the Christmas season and he was referred to the Circle Center Mall.
