LKQ of Indiana Dismisses Case

LKQ of Indiana received approval of its request to dismiss the zoning and
variance petition to build a car recycling facility at 8018 W. Washington
Street. The company now plans to move the facility north of the site toward
Morris Street. The Department of Metropolitan Development Hearing Examiner
also granted a 25 percent reimbursement of the filing fee, in the
amount of $1,431.25, at the Feb 28 meeting.
Earl Salisbury of the Wayne Township Assessor's Office preferred the facility
be moved south on airport property.
