IMPD Names Officer of the Year

Officer Candi Perry was named 2007 IMPD Police Officer of the year at the
April 25 Fire Police Deputy Sheriff award luncheon. This is an annual event
where business sponsors actually interview and select the winners of several
categories of nominees.
"What an honor it is for her and how proud we are to say she is a
part of our Northwest Team," Major Paul
Ciesielski said.
"Candi has been doing an outstanding job of working with our Latino
community, working to improve relationships and trying to close the gap
that exists between the Latino community and the police. I can't think
of a more deserving person."
