Speedway police are investigating a number of vehicles that were shot in the 2200 block of Sumter on Saturday afternoon. According to Police Chief Jeff Dine, 19 shell casings from at least two different caliber weapons were recovered in the area, along with a magazine. No injuries were reported.

Witness reports indicated that three Hispanic males fled after the shooting in a green Tahoe. A witness reportedly followed the suspect vehicle to an address on north Sumerset Avenue. Officers contacted four Hispanic males at that address but did not make any arrests after the landlord advised that the vehicle had been at that address for at least an hour.

Detectives will be continuing the investigation based on the information gathered at the Sumerset address.
